Jessica Simpson Being Sued for $100 Million

According to a complaint, filed in New York State Supreme Court by the Tarrant Apparel Group, Jessica agreed to a multimillion-dollar 3 year licensing deal for a line of low-priced jeans & apparal in December 2004.

According to the agreement Simpson would be "actively involved" in promoting the clothing line which included wearing the apparal from the line at "public events, shows and appearances" and whenever "reasonably practicable."

Simpson "simply failed to provide the promised support." The Tarrant Apparel Group also noted that when Jessica was asked by the media to name her favorite jeans she picked True Religion ($250+) brand as opposed to her own Princy ($60 sale $29.99) jeans.
